Lessons on the Plan of Salvation
Lesson No. Fifty

Outline of the Plan of Salvation

The Book of Mormon and the Temple Teach the Plan of Salvation – My understanding and testimony of the plan of salvation has come by studying the Book of Mormon and through temple worship.  The coming forth the Book of Mormon and the restoration of temple worship are the two bookends of the Prophet Joseph Smith’s ministry.  Within these bookends the priesthood was restored and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints was organized.  This was all necessary so that people in the latter days could know the plan of salvation and receive the greatest of all blessings, that of eternal life.

My understanding and appreciation of the plan of salvation has increased over time.  As a result, I have prepared three outlines of the plan of salvation that I have used in my teaching.  Each outline has become more complete than the previous one.

My current outline is included here but it will not be my final one.  As I gain more knowledge of the plan of salvation, in this life and the next, I expect to make this outline increasingly more complete.
